Hi Team,
David had a good week here at Jamie Drive. He had a glitch with not following his screen time agreement last Saturday. I believe this is his way of “testing the boundaries” with D.H.. He also continues to choose not to follow his usual morning routine,i.e.,shaving and general cleanliness. I think he puts it in the category of “the guy thing”. LOL. I will make sure to put that in our house notebook before I leave today. His mood has been very positive throughout the week in spite of having You Tube privileges taken away. He continues to be exceptionally helpful and eager to chat about his day at work. I ask him what his tasks were and he excitedly responds with no eye rolls. He was very pleased to tell me he stuffed five trays of envelopes yesterday! Good job DP!!!
This morning his anxiety was way up there. He has been wondering when he can have YouTube privileges again. We read an agreement sent from Pam last night and discussed it. He sheepishly nodded yes when I asked him if he could agree with the plan. This morning it was all he could think about. We sent an email off to Pam and she replied that once a few steps were followed here at home…showing DH, he could have privileges restored. He was SO relieved. We left Hannafords and went off to the CO OP where we ran into Allison. Needless to say, it was very emotional. I stood aside and let them have their time stepping in when I felt it was enough. He was quiet but ok. We finished up our shopping and came home and did our usual Saturday chores of putting groceries away and checking off his list. He asked me to take a picture of the binder that Allison started for DP and DH. He was very proud of that. Now he is up having some independent time in his room and getting ready for his eat n watch. He has certainly earned it.
